Future Park Projects

Currently, The Nature Corps volunteer program operates in Western National Parks. To expand its operations The Nature Corps is securing funding from corporations, private foundations and individuals to develop Nature Corps Volunteer Management Teams to serve in the most impacted National Parks across the United States.

These teams will provide the essential infrastructure and volunteer programs that are needed to accommodate greater numbers of desperately needed volunteers. In the long run, this model volunteer management program will be replicated in other National Parks across the United States allowing for the mobilization of a concerned public to take part in an historic effort to preserve our National Parks.

The Nature Corps looks forward to establishing its Volunteer Management Teams in the following National Parks:

  • Acadia
  • Cuyahoga Valley
  • Grand Canyon
  • Grand Teton
  • Great Smoky Mountains
  • Olympic
  • Rocky Mountain
  • Shenandoah
  • Yellowstone
  • Zion
