Treat your group of teachers, employees or members to one of the most rewarding and memorable volunteer vacation they could ever imagine.
As part of the volunteer vacation, your team will work on projects such as planting oak trees, restoring meadows in the High Country or protecting giant sequoia groves--the largest living organism on earth. After experiencing the personal rewards of contributing to the preservation of this magnificent natural treasure, we will load up our gear onto a team of llamas and begin the journey of a lifetime.
As the llamas are led past fields of wildflowers, glacial lakes and snow-capped mountains we will work our way up to the top of the High Sierra where we will enjoy some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world. On our way to the base camp you will enjoy a gourmet lunch alongside a beautiful meadow. Once we have set up camp, you will have several days to enjoy hiking, fishing, photography, reading, playing Frisbee, or taking a nap under a majestic pine.
After a full day of fun and play, we will be lured to dinner by the wonderful aromas of meals prepared by our gourmet chef. Each evening a festive dinner will be served as we dine under the Milky Way. Then we'll gather around the campfire for dessert and enjoy laughter-filled activities and games.
In the morning we will rise to the wonderful smell of coffee and a hearty breakfast. Afterwards, we'll form small groups to explore and study fascinating points of interest in the Sierra. As we approach our last evening together, we will gather for a special dinner and form our Friendship Circle to highlight the wonderful friendships that were made and reflect on this memorable volunteer vacation.
A portion of the revenues generated through the volunteer vacations are used to support our student volunteer program.
