Dining: Pampered by Wuksachi Chefs
Breakfast Each morning we will rise to the wonderful aromas of coffee and a hearty breakfast prepared by our outdoor chef. Breakfasts will include generous amounts of egg dishes, meats, steaming flapjacks, pastries, cereals, yogurts and a wide variety of fruits, melons, fruit juices, and an assortment of coffees and teas. Lunch A wonderful selection of fresh meats and cheeses, delicious breads, along with crisp vegetables and a variety of spreads satisfy hearty lunchtime appetites after a morning in the great outdoors. Tasty veggie wraps or perhaps chicken salad pitas may also be part of a mid-day buffet. At all times, unlimited quantities of icy lemonade and fresh water are available to quench your thirst. Dinner After a full day of fun and exploring Sequoia, we will be lured to dinner by the wonderful aromas of meals prepared by our outdoor chef. Each evening a festive dinner will be served as we dine under the Milky Way. While you enjoy delectable appetizers and relax at the base camp, our chef will prepare a dinner that is sure to surprise and please. Every night is different, but the menu will likely include tender steaks, grilled chicken breasts, steaks, pasta, accompanied by delectable side dishes, vegetables, and wonderful salads. Dutch-oven cake and cobblers or other scrumptious desserts deliciously top off the evening meal. Then we'll gather around the campfire for scrumptious desserts and enjoy laughter-filled activities and games as we reflect on this memorable volunteer vacation.
