Vision:
The Nature Corps is the premier national network of volunteers dedicated to the preservation of America’s National Parks.

Mission:
To preserve the splendor of America’s National Parks by mobilizing a national volunteer corps to implement priority conservation and beautification projects.

Goal:
In partnership with the National Park Service, corporations and nonprofit organizations, The Nature Corps will coordinate a volunteer corps of corporate employees, professional, adult and student volunteers to design, plan and implement priority conservation projects that will preserve the National Parks for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations.

The Premise for The Nature Corps Program:

1. The Opportunity: The challenge of managing vast regions of open space set aside by public authorities for the enjoyment of all people has created an opportunity for all of us to assume some role in preservation of the ecological wealth contained in these magnificent lands that are so vital to the quality of communal living both now and in the future.
2. Our Purpose: To identify and organize the resources, myriad talents, intrinsic interest and reservoir of goodwill that exists among people in all communities of the world in order to promote an ethic of shared stewardship of the natural riches found in parks and other open spaces that have been set aside for public enjoyment.
3. Our Values: We believe in the ability and power of people working together to protect and preserve the natural environment we all enjoy. It is imperative that we come together often to celebrate the wonders of nature and pass the baton of stewardship on to the next generation.
